I've also looked at a few battery websites that have matching part numbers (or comparable aftermarket 5900mAh versions, for example) for the ASUS battery. I've had an open ticket with ASUS about this problem for two weeks, with no response thus far. This battery issue (an issue a lot of people apparently have, according to reviews) is my only issue. I am not suffering from any performance loss in gaming, nor have I had any BSODs or critical errors. I didn't lose 2%, but it still didn't go past 88% before the LED started blinking again, and Windows was kind enough to once again inform me the battery was 'Not Charging.' I plugged AC power back in, and let charge again with the laptop shut down. I uninstalled the ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver, shut down, and reinstalled the battery. So I decided to drain the battery again, remove it, and reboot windows on AC-only power. With every recharge, it peaks out at 2% less than the last time before the LED starts to blink again. I started Windows, and the LED went solid, again, until it reached 88%. The orange LED was solid for 12 hours straight before it started blinking again. Per this thread: I decided to deep cycle the battery (I had already done this upon unboxing it in October), and let the laptop shut itself off in the BIOS. It will not restart to windows after this, but it will operate in BIOS for approximately 5 minutes before shutting itself off, again. On battery mode, the charge state is not tracked, and windows will shut down abruptly when the battery dies. After a few restarts, it simply blinked orange, and has done so ever since. Initially, the battery LED alternated green/orange with a 'not charging' notification in windows. Not long after that resolution, a new problem-a staple of many horror stories read about on TigerDirect, Amazon, and NewEgg-with the battery arose. I managed to solve this with the help of the ROG community by disabling my Bluetooth drivers. Awhile back I had a problem with my laptop not shutting down or restarting properly in Windows.

Connect your Spotify account to your Facebook account. There are two ways to change your username. Today I’m going to explain How to Change Spotify Username. Like other social media platforms or other music streaming services, Spotify doesn’t let you change your username on Spotify by editing your profile. Your username is auto-generated by Spotify while creating your account. I also don’t like my Spotify as it is some random number and alphabets. You have a Spotify account, but you don’t like your Spotify username. The above steps that I followed have also been confirmed to work by Wade.Last updated on July 14th, 2020 at 08:48 am Reset your password from the email link.Go to the login page and choose 'forgot password' and use the email associated with your Facebook account. After that I was able to disconnect Spotify from the Facebook settings page. I complained about this in one the Slack groups I'm in, and Nathaniel suggested I try doing a 'forgot password' to set a password on the account and it worked. Once that's done, we'll transfer all of your tunes and student details across. Don't worry, we can free up your email address so you can create a new account. I even spoke to Spotify support who said:Īs your account was created via Facebook, it can't be unlinked. This morning I tweeted that there's no way to convert a Spotify account from Facebook login to email and password login.
